Abdullah Ayazi – Secretary

Abdullah Ayazi is an electrical engineer managing the Washington D.C. office of a large, national engineering firm. He is also the president of the Afghan Learning Academy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the educational needs of Afghan children.

Mr. Ayazi has lived in the United States for 36 years and has always been involved with helping the Afghan community. While living in Albuquerque, NM in the ’90s, he founded the Afghan Society of New Mexico, a nonprofit organization serving the needs of the Afghan community in Albuquerque. This organization is still active and thriving running a community center and an Afghan cemetery.

Abdullah Ayazi has published a detailed map of Afghanistan in 2001 which earned him popular acclaim.

Mr. Ayazi lives in Loudoun County with his wife and three daughters. He plays chess, enjoys outdoor activities, and jumped out of a perfectly working plane (skydived) for the first time two years ago.
